"Inasmuch as these people refused the waters of Shiloah that flow softly, and rejoice in Rezin and in Remaliah's son;
Now behold, the Lord
brings up over them the waters of the River, strong and mighty===the king of Assyria
and all his glory; he will go up over all his channels and go over all his banks.
He will pass through Judah, he will overflow and passover, he will reach up to the neck; and the strecthing out of his wings will fill the breadeth of Your land, O; Immanuel.
Be shattered, O you peoples, and be broken in pieces! Give ear,, all you from far countries. Gird yourselves, but be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, but be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, but it will come to Nothing; speak the word, but it will not stand, for God is with us."
The Spirit of the Lord came to me again, saying with a strong hand, and Instructed me
that i shall not walk in the ways of this people,saying," "And many among them shall stumble; they shall fall and be broken, be snared and taken."
"I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but i will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them with judgement."
"Is it too little for you to have eaten up the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture----and to have drunk of the Clear Waters, that you must foul the residue with your feet?"
Although i heard, i did not understand. Then i said, "My Lord,
what shall be the end of these things?"
For i have come to 'set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law';
And 'a mans enemies will be those in his own household.'
